Pre-ORDER DISCLAIMER
Pre-order delivery dates are subject to distribution delivery delays, and while I will endeavor to have product shipped out on release date, it could occur as late as 2-3 business days after. This is unfortunately something I don't have a lot of control over (for example, UPS Delays due to COVID, distributor delays due to high volumes of releases going out, etc). I would ask that you have patience with me-- but if you have any questions or concerns I'm happy to chat with you about it.
Distributor Allocation (Limiting of items received)
What is allocation?
Distributors receive a certain amount of product from their manufactorers and sometimes if certain products are in high demand, they will only receive a certain number of specific items despite however many they have pre-ordered. This means that they will then take the number received and "allocate" a portion of those to each of their retailers (ex: Me, Target, etc). This means that even if I've ordered 20 of a specific item and that has been accepted by my distributor -- if that item is in high demand, I may only receive 5 of them.
What does this mean for you?
This means that I will most likely be limiting the number of pre-orders that I can take at a given time on specific more high demand items, in order to prevent disappointing folks if I don't receive all of them. This means if I do in fact receive the amount I order, and there is no allocation, I can open pre-orders back up closer to release date. If for some reason even with limiting pre-orders, the distributor STILL allocates only a certain number of them to me, I will split them up between existing orders and if you purchased more than one, you may receive less than the full number you purchased.
I will also be endeavoring to have multiple distribution methods to hopefully NOT have this happen-- and will do my best to fill your orders in some other way (ordering from another retailer if possible, etc) but there may be extreme situations where I will just need to refund your order entirely.
A good example of this is the Pokemon TCG: Vivid Voltage Build and Battle Box. I started taking pre-orders prior to the announcement of the special cards included, so even though I ordered 30+ of them, I only ended up receiving 5, and so those 5 were split among the folks who had pre-ordered them.
In Summary
I will do my very best to prevent any issues with you receiving your orders and try to plan for contingency plans regarding limitations/shipping delays, however-- there are lots of situations out there that can occur and I cannot plan for all of them. I will always do my best to do right by you however, and if you pay for something-- you will receive it (although it may be delayed), or you will receive a full refund.
I also endeavor to communicate quite openly with folks about all situations (I'm sure some of you are tired of me by now, haha). So I will usually let you know as soon as I'm aware of an issue-- but if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me via the contact page.
